Advanced Ultrasound Battery Inspection Systems (Ultra-BIS in short) are critical to effectively monitor and manage important battery parameters - including State-of-health (SoH). Current battery inspections rely on parameters such as voltage, current, resistance and temperature to assess its quality and function. But predicting battery cell degradation and failure accurately and timely still remains a key challenge. Azeriri is currently developing a new test solution for batteries that uses ultrasound. This relies on ultrasonic waves propagating through the battery for determining its material properties, internal defects and structural integrity in real-time, non-destructively leading to quicker turnarounds/battery repairs resulting in tremendous cost savings for our customers.
Azeriri's Ultra-BIS could be used to test battery/component integrity during both manufacture/assembly or in-service. Miniature version of this device could also be included as an additional input to Battery Management Systems (BMS) on board electric vehicles to improve the accuracy of its prediction and avoid catastrophic battery failures. We are happy to co-develop a bespoke battery management solution with you so get in touch with us now.
If you would like more information and/or want to design a custom battery inspection solution at an affordable price, get in touch with us NOW by filling up the enquiry form or email us at info@azeriri.com
