1-3 Piezo Composite Transducer
All our 1-3 piezo-composite transducers are bespoke; they are designed to meet the specific measurements requirements of each individual customer.
Sensor material : 1-3 Piezoelectric composite
Act element diameter: 20 mm to 67 mm
Nominal center freq: 150 kHz to 650 kHz
Typical -6 dB bandwidth : 25 to 60 % of centre frequency
Case material : 316L Stainless steel or polymer
Front face : Rho-C matched or rigid resin wear plate

Impedance matched to 50 Ω.
Impedance matching network is
integrated into case (no need for external
matching network).
A 1.5 metre co-axial cable (BNC
terminated) is supplied as standard but
other options are available on request.
Each device is supplied with in-house calibration certificate, transverse, axial beam profile, freq and power calibration.
PVdF Transducers
Centre frequency 5 MHz to 50 MHz.

frequency, depending on design)

Piezo-Electric PVdF Materials
PVdF is one of the most widely known piezo polymers available.
PVdF exhibits strong piezo- and pyro-electric response and has an acoustic impedance that is much closer to water.
